"Unless the Lord
build the house,
they labor in vain who build it!"
Psalm 127:1

Us in front
of the new front door, before the siding was finished. We all
look like we feel all the time lately--tired and dirty! That
drywall dust gets on everything! (choke!)

Going back a way,
Steve is mounting the folding ironing board in the kitchen. Oh,
it's nice to have that yellow insulation covered up now!

Bill and Merrie
Grace Critchlow are homeschooling friends. Bill is a builder and
has been helping with a lot of the interior finish work, and
building our back deck. His quality craftsmanship has been a
blessing to us many times over as we rush to get this house ready
to live in! This is our nook area, where we'll have our meals!

Looking
from our kitchen, this is the great room (an informal living
room, we're not very formal!) with our gas fireplace. Right after
this photo, Jaime Stopinski, another homeschooling dad, painted
the interior of our house "White Linen". It's a very
pale yellow, to warm up all the blues we will have in the house!

The siding job is
done! We'll wait until spring to paint the exterior, to allow the
paint to cure properly. It will be pale gray with darker gray and
Williamsburg blue accents, and white trim.
